Deltatre Media – BBC ‘Football Focus’

Part time- current employment

I’m extremely privileged to be part of the of the ‘Football Focus’ production team. Working within the graphics department I prepare, monitor and construct graphics in response to live football games. Live television can be unpredictable and demanding, however, I strive to perform efficiently and accurately. I thoroughly enjoy my role in sports media and hope to continue contributing to such a successful and significant sporting program.

Working in partnership with a collegue to create two promotional films for the creative arts charity, used in promotional work and on my youtube channel.

Work Experience

BBC Introducing

Working in a team of four to record, produce and edit local gigs for the BBC website; With one edit achieving ‘editors ‘pick of the week’:

‘Being picked to work for the World’s oldest broadcasting association was a proposition I couldn’t turn down.  Filming Bands and producing short videos incorporated many of my career pursuits and working for the BBC certainly ticked a box on the bucket list’

Simple Netball Ltd

Working on a solo project to creat two promotional videos for the Manchester based Netball league. These short films are available on the simple netball website and on my youtube channel.

Museum of Science and Industry

Demonstrating the practice of live television recording and signal processes:

Explaining the procedure of signal processing to children is a task I could honestly say I feared, but working at MOSI changed my whole outlook on children and modern technology. Even children with very little life experience have witness the analogue to digital television conversion or the mobile phone to android transformation, they know a whole lot more about technology than I did at 10 years old.  Working with children was both charming and enlightening.’

Sidewalk Skateboard magazine 

Freelance Writer, creating articles regarding the UK skateboarding  scene:

 ‘as a skateboarding enthusiast I have been extremely honoured to publish work for a magazine I have collected since childhood; working with talented and inventive people within the skateboarding Industry has been an experience I will preserve forever, and I  even have the scars to prove it.’
